I have been going to Gainesway for over 15 years. I brought my dog in today because she cant put any weight on her foot and it was bleeding everywhere. In my panic, I yelled can we get an (expletive) doctor. I know cussing is wrong, but Dr. McCord refused to see our dog and work on her. Because of an expletive. I will find a vet that’s cares more about the animal than their own ego. Horrible experience. Don’t show any emotion if your dog is severely injured or the doctor will turn you away. What a shame. Update - I had to put my dog down tonight. I luckily found a vet who had compassion and helped. Avoid this place.

These folks have taken care of my dogs for more than 30 years. They're professional, empathetic and pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately we're too old to start over with a new dog. I highly recommend them.

After 11.5 wonderful years, "Prince" Range the Great Dane went home to be with his cousins Axel and Lily. A combination of Marmaduke and Scooby Doo, Range was a big galoot. He loved chasing the horse balls (and never bringing them back to you) in the backyard. He loved his pup-cups from D.Q. He loved taking up an entire section of our leather couch. For 11 years he saw all the Vets at GSAC. Dr. McCord and Dr. Nolty saw him for his last 2 years, and they articulated to me the symptoms to look out for as he aged. He finally got to the point where he couldn't walk on his back legs. This all happened pretty fast, and we were forced to take him to GSAC to give him a dignified passing with Dr. Nolty. While the entire ordeal was very emotional, Dr. Nolty and the GSAC staff were total professionals, and were simply wonderful that day. Kathy and I cannot thank you all enough for helping us give Range the best last day of his life!

They are the best of the best. I wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else.
